The Army Applications Lab is looking for companies to develop a predictive logistics software solution that gathers data from existing Army logistics platforms and provides it to commanders in a comprehensive, accessible format. Applications open June 25.
Problem
Traditional logistics systems struggle to integrate data from disparate sources across Army platforms; data from the Army’s logistics systems could be easier to understand and action if displayed in a more user-centric format.
Opportunity
The Army wants companies to develop a predictive logistics software solution that is capable of operating in contested environments, providing real-time tracking, predictive analysis, and suggested “Courses of Action” to optimize logistical flow and facilitate mission success. In short, the solution should be able to:
Track: Provide a real-time view of logistics assets, personnel, and supply chains.
Predict: Anticipate potential disruptions, including forecasting consumption to identify problems and alert accordingly.
Recommend: Generate optimized Courses of Action for routes, resupply packages, resource allocation, and more.
Reward
AAL expects to issue one or more awards, with an estimated total funding of $4 million across all awards combined. The expected period of performance for this effort is 18 months.
Deadline
July 23.
